Annie Wersching Bio
Annie Wersching, born March 28, 1977 is an American actress best known for her role in 24 and the voice acting that she provided for Tess in NaughtyDog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis where she graduated in 1995. She was a competitor in Irish dance in her early years and was part of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. She holds completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching started her acting career through appearances on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, and moved on to appearing as a guest on shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct Supernatural and Cold Case. She played the role of Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's Daytime soap drama General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. Also, she has been a part of theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. She was also a regular in the series of Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching was a catcher on the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching also played the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter prior to her appearance in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer, which was shown on the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching was cast as the role of the Borg queen in Star Trek the second season of Picard, which will premiere in September 2021.
