Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor she is a popular TV host. Burrell hosts Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and also serves as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. With her signature spiky blond hair and her energised personality Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of eating out and offers clear, easy to learn techniques for home cooks on her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell was also employed in some of New York's top eateries, studied Italian cuisine and its traditions, and took part in Food Network Iron Chef America. Growing up in upstate New York, Chef Burrell began to develop a love of cooking and eating at young age. After receiving an English and Communication degree from Canisius College in Buffalo NY she started to pursue her passion for the business of restaurant by enroling at The Culinary Institute of America. The Culinary Institute of America was a great opportunity for me. I was never able to learn or do enough. Chef Burrell was a graduate of the Culinary Institute for Foreigners in Italy completed a one-year stint in Umbria in Umbria at La Taverna del Lupo and Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, a Michelin-starred restaurant. In her time in Italy she learned to recognize and comprehend the concept behind Italian cuisine and culture which left a lasting impact from a culinary point of view. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens the lives of children facing difficulties. She also serves as a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Celebrity Ambassador. she is an advocate for the awareness of juvenile diabetes. As an inspirational speaker, she makes trips across the country to share her passion for cooking and food, as well as to talk about her profession in culinary. Anne declared that she felt fortunate to be able to share her true passion with others.
